MOT Tester, West Sussex  

Reactive Recruitment are working with a family-run auto services business with over 25 years of experience in the motor industry. Our client now seeks an experienced qualified MOT Tester with a can-do attitude to join their busy workshop team.  

The role;  

  • Conduct MOT tests on vehicles in compliance with DVSA standards  
  • Identify and report any vehicle defects or issues  
  • Perform necessary repairs or adjustments to ensure vehicles meet MOT requirements  
  • Keep accurate records of tests and results  
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area  
  • Work to a high standard and delivering jobs on time  
  • Hours: Monday to Friday from 8:30am until 6pm

The person;  

  • Essential: 5 years minimum experience in an MOT Tester / Service Technician role  
  • Essential: Qualified IMI/NVQ Level 3 Light Vehicle Repair & Maintenance  
  • Essential: MOT Level 2 qualified   
  • You must have full UK driving licence  
  • Good skills in diagnostics, able to carry out jobs such as cambelt, timing chains, clutches as well as servicing and normal garage repairs on all makes of cars and vans  
  • Self-motivated with a can-do attitude  
  • Excellent team player  
  • Good customer service abilities
