A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Claims Specialist to join a developing Commercial Insurance Professionals based in Chelmsford. Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• To proactively manage all aspects of TP damage, from notification through to settlement
• Investigating and resolving claims in a professional timely and pro-active manner, whilst providing a first-class claims handling service, in accordance with company procedures and service standards
• Correctly calculating claim reserves, payments, and large movement reports
• Updating and maintaining accurate Claims Management System records
• Where appropriate, attending company and client review meetings

Skills & Experience Required:

• Minimum 1 years’ experience of working in a Technical Claims Adjusting role.
• Experience of negotiations and a technical insurance knowledge and understanding including that of, repair, capture, intervention, Third Party and property damage, and claims processed involving the MOJ and OIC
• A genuine desire to engage in future learning opportunities and continuous professional development
• Strong customer service, and communication skills both written and verbal
• A proactive approach and enthusiastic attitude
