Lorien's leading banking client is looking for a MQ Consultant to join the existing team on a brand-new project.

This role is based in Edinburgh Or London.

This role will be Via Umbrella.

Working in a Hybrid Model of 1 day a week on site.

Key Skills

• 3-5 years' experience of MQ on mainframe systems and UNIX systems required.
• Experience developing and designing MQ systems in a large organisation.
• Experience of MQ from versions 7 to 9.x
• Knowledge of SSL certificates and AMS certificates as used by MQ.
• Experience of IIB/ACE would be a benefit.
• Assist and support high and low level platform designs
• Develop MQ designs with a focus on the most efficient route.
• Build and develop the MQ objects required.
• Provide MQ advice to the project.
• Support all testing phases in any of the numerous Test environments
• Manage operational acceptance testing of all MQ objects and code, provide detailed handover to KSOR teams.
• Create relevant documentation for support and background.
• Implement certificates where required.
• Support release process
• Implement production MQ changes, ensuring correct governance
• Assist with implementing RDQM
