Multi Skilled Engineer - Mechanical Bias (70671) - Central London £50,000 Package

This role is a shift based position which will require the candidate to work on a 4 shifts on, 4 off rotation. These shifts will rotate between, days and nights for example: 2 days 07:00 - 19:00, followed by 2 nights 19:00 - 07:00, 4 days off. What you get in return:

Job Over review:-

Responsible to a Shift Leader for undertaking mechanical works on a wide range of building services reactive and planned maintenance throughout the London Estate. The work is undertaken on a shift basis to ensure 24hr cover for the London Estate. All shift teams to be complementary with mechanical support across the sites. High standard of planned preventative and reactive maintenance. Able to use diagnostic equipment and work from technical manuals and drawings. Able to identify visual plant defects, warning lights and indicators.

Comprehensive understanding of building services and proficient in maintenance of: Power, distribution and switching, Motors controls, Lighting systems, Stand by generators, Electrical test procedures and certification, Controls systems, Inverter operation and design, Fire alarm/PA systems.

What we are looking for

Experience of working within commercial properties and installations.

Good understanding of current Health & Safety legislation and its application within role.

Ability to effectively prioritise own workload.

Flexibility and adaptability to change / Flexible approach to work and working hours (subject to the EU Working Time Directive).

Pro-active and positive approach to work

Self-motivated.

Good knowledge of building Statutory Compliance.

Must hold a full UK driver's license.

Ability to record work accurately on work sheets and computer based systems.

HSE management in accordance with our Quality Management System and all legal and statutory requirements.

Gas

NVQ Level 3 in Heating/Ventilation/Maintenance.

COCN1 OR CODNCO1 (domestic to commercial changeover)- Desirable.

CORT1, TPCP1A, CIGA1, CDGA1, ICPN1- Desirable

AC/HVAC

NVQ Level 3 in Air Conditioning/Maintenance- Desirable

F Gas Qualification- Desirable

Electrical

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Apprenticeship- .Essential.

18th Edition-Essential. - 2391-52 Testing and Inspection Qualification- .Essential

Plumbing

NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing- .desirable.
