Multi Skilled Engineer

Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced MutliSkilled Engineer based within Salford,M6

The primary purpose of the role is to carry out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive call outs on a wide variety of Mechanical and Electrical Buildings Services Engineering plant, ensuring all activities are completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the contracted output specifications and EQUANS processes and procedures. This includes Legionella control and monitoring activities, fire alarm testing and participating in an out of hours call out rota.

Available shifts / Locations below:

• Monday until Friday (5 days a week) - This is a Full time position
• Postcode: SO21 2SW
• 08:00-17:00PM
• £21.01 including holiday pay, however you have the option to accrue
• Paid Weekly, Every Friday before 5 PM.

Skills and experience required:

• Must have at least 2 years previous experience
• DBS Required
• Driving Licence
• Knowledge of risk assessment and working safely with equipment
• Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
• Able to manage time effectively
• Ability to work both alone and in a team
• Awareness of health and safety procedures
• Basic use of computers
• Base Electrical Qualification C&G Part A and B OR C&G 236 Pt 1 & Pt 2
• C&G 2330 Level 2 and 3 OR AM1 & AM2 OR C&G 2360 Pt1 & Pt 2
• 8th Edition C&G 2382 - 18
• C&G 2391 or 2394/2395
• BTEC Level 3 Certification in Mechanical Engineering OR
• BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Mechanical Engineering OR
• BTEC Level 3 in HVAC
• C&G 6188 Level 2 Heating and Ventilation OR
• C&G 7188 Level 3
• Competent Person Mechanical and Pressure System
• Experienced in Plumbing system Maintenance and fault rectification.

Must have experience in the following:

• Ensure that routine PPM is carried out to all mechanical and electrical plant in accordance with Site task schedules and CAFM
• Ensure that reactive tasks throughout the sites are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made.
• Ensure an awareness and compliance to the contractual KPI's/SLA's.
• Ensure CAFM system, e.g. PlanOn, is kept up to date and that PPM and reactive tickets are closed out with accurate data captured.
