Multi Skilled Engineer -Immediate start

Hexagon Recruitment is seeking a skilled and motivated Shift Fitter to join our client's dynamic company. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career growth and competitive compensation.

Key Details:

Initial Training Period:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Post-Training Schedule:

  • 4 on, 4 off shift pattern
  • 2 x 12-hour day shifts followed by 2 x 12-hour night shifts

Benefits:

  • £38,000 to £45,000 p.a.
  • Free medical scheme after probationary period
  • Time and a half for overtime
  • Two 30-minute unpaid breaks per shift

Requirements:

  • 5 years or more experience of plant fitting and maintenance in an industrial environment
  • Good Multi-skilled knowledge range (Electrical & Mechanical)
  • Maintain and repair a wide range of processing equipment
  • Welding, both stick and MIG
  • Strong understanding of Engineering drawings and able to fabricate from such
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work day and night shifts
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
