Job Title: Multi-Skilled Engineer (Multiple roles available)
Location: Warrington
Shift Pattern: 6/2 2/10 Rota Shift Pattern

We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our clients rapidly growing team in Warrington.

Responsibilities:
  • Support and diagnose engineering breakdowns, replacing faulty parts
  • Enhance, repair, and maintain plant equipment and services according to the preventive maintenance schedule
  • Install new machinery and equipment
  • Lead continuous improvement projects during planned downtime
  • Request spares and consumables
  • Ensure health and safety compliance in line with SSOW and company procedures
  • Meet individual performance measures such as downtime, work order closeouts, and equipment availability
  • Support a preventive maintenance strategy
  • Undertake predictive, preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance tasks
  • Meet safety, quality, and productivity KPIs
  • Supervise contractors to ensure compliance with site processes
  • Maintain comprehensive maintenance records

Qualifications:
  • BTEC HNC/HND or C&G in Mechanical or Maintenance Engineering or similar
  • Extensive maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Multi-skilled with an electrical or mechanical bias
  • Good knowledge of hydraulic systems, HVAC, water, gas, compressed air systems, electrical fault finding, and electrical safety
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems, PLCs, pneumatics, and other systems
  • Ability to read CAD drawings or SolidWorks
  • Understanding of CMMS software
  • Experience with forklifts and mobile platforms
  • Ability to obtain specialist components
  • Compliance with health and safety legislation
