Job Opportunity: Multi Skilled Engineer

Location: Burton-Upon-Trent
Shift Patterns: 6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm, 10pm – 6am
Salary: Circa £48k

Position Summary:
A top manufacturing site in Burton-Upon-Trent is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer for their packing department. As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and sustainable transfer of products to packaging lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance on filling and packaging equipment as a Multi Skilled Engineer.
  • Optimize machinery efficiency and reduce breakdowns.
  • Document maintenance activities and manage procurement within budget.
  • Support compliance audits and maintenance improvements.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Dual-trained in mechanical and electrical engineering with manufacturing experience.
  • NVQ Level 3, National Certificate/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, and a time-served apprenticeship.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) and experience in installation and testing (Desirable)
