Our client, a leader in innovative modular building solutions, is on the lookout for a Multi-Skilled Operative to join their progressive Hire Division in Hayes, UB3.

Competitive Pay & Bonus Potential: Earn up to £40,000+ with additional skill-based bonuses - starting salary at £31,555 per annum (£15.56 per hour), with the potential to earn an additional £486.72 - £8,497 annually. Inclusive of London Weighting allowance

Generous holidays: 32 days, inclusive of bank holidays.

Working hours are: 39 hours/week, Monday to Thursday 07:45 - 16:30, and Friday 07:45 - 15:30.

Overtime available at a premium rate of £21.15/hour.

About the job

As a Multi-Skilled Operative, you’ll be a key player in our clients team, bringing your skills in:

• Carpentry: Craft partition walls, doors, and windows.
• Plumbing: Assemble sinks, toilets, and fit copper and push-fit systems.
• Electrics: Install sockets, lighting, and cable runs under expert guidance.
• Finishing Touches: Paint, decorate, and configure interior layouts to top-notch standards.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Assemble and fit out modular buildings to meticulous design specifications.
• Safely handle, move, and install components, ensuring timely project completion.
• Develop strong customer relationships by delivering high-quality service.

About you:

• Basic DIY Skills: Carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electrics.
• Problem-Solving Ability: Plan and organize effectively to meet deadlines.
• Customer Service Focus: Build rapport and deliver excellent service.

• Travel Flexibility: Occasionally commuting to Gloucester/Swindon and along the South Coast.
