Multi-trade Operative

We are currently working in partnership with a highly reputable Housing Association based in South Wales, who are looking to take on two Multi-Trade Operatives on an initially 2-month temporary contract with the chance of extension.

This will be a full-time position based in Newport, with a competitive hourly rate of up to £23 CIS per hour.

The ideal candidate will have recent Social Housing experience, and access to their own tools. If you don’t have access to your own vehicle please still get in touch, as there are solutions to this.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Carrying out responsive trades within Void properties, such as Carpentry, Plastering, Plumbing and tiling
• Repair and replace doors, skirting, cabinets and work surfaces
• Replacing fencing within void properties
• Ensuring work is all completed to specification
• Handing works over to Voids manager and lettings team as required

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing
• Carpentry and Plastering

Working hours:

• 37 hours a week
• Monday - Thursday, 8am - 4pm, Friday 8am - 3:30pm
