About The Role
General Overview:

Undertake all aspects of general daily cleaning duties mainly external and public areas but also including internal areas with duties such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping and toilet/ washroom facilities. Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning materials as required in accordance with Health and Safety requirements.

You will be working Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 10:00, 20 hours per week, on a permanent, part-time basis.

Impact:

Operative will be working in public and private areas; knowledge of the area, local business and landmarks is a must; operative will be representing OCS and Southbank Centre while on duty.

Complexity:

Operative may be approached by members of the public for various reasons (eg. asking for directions, local/site information, etc). Operative will be working externally in adverse weather (rain, sun, wind and cold).

Qualifications or Required Experience:

Candidate should have experience in operating cleaning equipment and in working in external and public areas; candidates without experience but with the willingness to work in the cleaning industry may also be considered for this position; experience in communicating or receiving work instructions over radios and mobile phones. Must be able to communicate effectively with work colleagues and member of the public.
