We’re looking for a Multi skilled Engineer with an Electrical bias to join our experienced / growing team here at our production plant in Northamptonshire. You’ll work reactive to maintain our plant, but we also want you to create, run and install your own special projects!

BASIC SALARY: Up to £50,000

JOB DESCRIPTION: Multiskilled Engineer, Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Installation Engineer, Electrical Engineer - Food Industry / Plant

If variety is your thing, this could be a perfect match. As one of our Electrically biased Multi-skilled Engineer’s you’ll be responsible for all reactive and preventative maintenance. But you’ll also drive your own projects too, so the role will cover:

· 75% PPM and reactive maintenance across all capital equipment – conveyors, packaging, elevators, sieves, grinders and site electrical equipment such as lighting systems, fire alarm systems etc.
· 25% project work including inception, design, build, install, commission.
· Fault finding and maintenance on the control systems of production machines and plant services.
· Testing of electrical installations using test and measurement equipment.
· Preventative maintenance on process and safety systems.

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Multi skilled Engineer, Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Installation Engineer, Electrical Engineer - Food Industry / Plant

You’re a hands-on Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer or Service Engineer. You might be a Field Service Engineer, looking to move to a single site role or a Single Site Maintenance Engineer or Technician.

Whatever your background you’ll demonstrate:

· Experience servicing and repairing a diverse range of capital equipment / machinery.
· Experience of production plant systems including VSDs, Soft Starts, weighing equipment, sensors, and a variety of process control equipment would be ideal.
· An awareness of PLC’ s (Mitsubishi or Siemens preferred).
· Excellent problem solving and fault-finding skills.

Above all you’ll be highly motivated, self-sufficient and thrive on finding solutions in sometimes challenging situations.
