Music Teacher/ Tutor Job

Hays Education are working with a large secondary academy in Nottingham who are looking for a passionate and dedicated music professional to join their welcoming music department from September 2024. (ECT applications welcome!)

Your new role
You will be working in a supportive department which encourages teamwork and collaboration to ensure the best teaching and learning across the school. You will be planning and teaching well-structured lessons to impart knowledge and promote a love of learning and music within your students.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a true passion for all things music and have a great desire to educate and pass on your passion to the students you teach. You will have experience teaching or tutoring music in the UK and will promote good progress and outcomes. You'll be able to adapt your teaching style to respond to the strengths and needs of all students whilst creating a positive and inclusive environment. You will make accurate and productive assessments whilst ensuring behaviour and safety of students is managed effectively.
