Are you passionate about music and dedicated to inspiring young minds? I am seeking an enthusiastic and talented Music Teacher to join our dynamic team starting in September 2024. We are committed to providing a high-quality education and fostering a love for music in students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and dynamic music lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Plan, prepare, and assess students' work in accordance with the national curriculum.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
- Organise and lead extracurricular music activities, including school concerts and music clubs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and promote cross-curricular learning.
- Stay current with developments in music education and integrate new teaching strategies and technologies into the classroom.
Music Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Music or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching music at the secondary school level.
- Strong knowledge of the music curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to contribute to the broader school community.
