Academics are acting as an agency and working on behalf a good Secondary School in Hertford to help recruit a Music Teacher on a long-term contract to start September 2024 up until the October 2024 half term.

The Role - Music Teacher in Hertford

The successful applicant will be teaching KS3 students and supporting a music specialist who will be leading the KS4 students. This is a Temporary part time role (4 days a week) up until October Half term.

This would suit an experienced teacher or a teacher that has just completed their education and training, and looking to gain more experience in the classroom.

About you:

  • Experience working in a secondary school teaching Music up to KS3
  • Qualified Teacher Status or on the job experience
  • Specialist knowledge of Music and the UK curriculum
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS

Key Points

  • Temporary role teaching Music to KS3 and supporting a Music specialist at KS4
  • QTS or on the job experience
  • 4 days a week
  • Must be up to date with UK curriculum and able to plan and mark lessons
  • Pay scale - M1 to UPS3 equivalent as a day rate depending on experience
  • September start
