For a HNW Female single mother with three children (8/10/14) we are looking for an English-speaking experienced Nanny/ PA based at their large beautiful apartment in Milan, Italy. Must be a driver and ideally speak other European languages like French and Italian. This is a permanent, full-time role and can be live-in (with separate accommodation provided) or live-out.

The apartment, the family just moved to, consists of 476m² and is located centrally in Milan with parks close by. The mother works largely from home but travels frequently. The family employ a Private Chef, two Housekeepers and a remote Private PA. There are no pets. The children go to a local school and to many different activities.

The main duty of the Nanny/PA is to care for the administration of the household and share the care of the children with the mother. There are no regular sleep overs required but you may be asked occasionally to sleep over. Occasional travel may be required. There is a small office space for the PA/Nanny to use.

The duties of the Nanny/ PA:

  • Dropping off kids to school in the morning if mother is not in town. Usually, the mother drops them off when in town.
  • Picking up children from school and taking them to activities
  • Overseeing homework
  • Managing schedule of the children
  • Preparing healthy snacks but also the chef can be asked to prepare the snacks
  • Organizing the children’s belongings
  • Filing and sorting paperwork
  • Paying bills and dealing with utilities
  • Overseeing projects, research and small events with the other PA if needed
  • Making online purchases
  • Communicating with the Private PA
  • Running errands

Requirements:

  • 4 year's experience within a private household and children of similar ages
  • Clean driver's license and a confident driver
  • Fluency in English and ideally French and/or Italian
  • Must be legal to work in Italy (EU passport)
  • A non-smoker
  • Flexibility with a positive attitude is a must
  • A good organizer and communicator
  • Written references from past families
  • Valid First Aid certificate
  • Recent security check

We are looking for a Nanny/ PA who enjoys a healthy lifestyle, is into fitness and mindfulness ideally. The Nanny/ PA should be loyal, warm hearted and dedicated in order to support the family long term. Being able to fit in with the family, take the initiative and work independently is key. Some travel may be required (mostly to their property near Geneva, Switzerland with accommodation provided in the house). The family is looking for someone down to earth who is good with children, while respecting the family's rules and values.

Trials are held towards the end of Aug/ beginning of Sept. 2024. If candidates are moving to Milan for the role, help with accommodation during the probation will be provided. Or accommodation, if required, can be provided for this role.

A staff car is available for work.

Hours: Mon - Fri, approx. 10am- 6 or 6.30pm (1/2 hr for lunch which is provided), time in lieu given for extra hours worked.

Salary:€60000- 70000 gross a year live-out (or €45000- 55000 gross a year with separate accommodation provided), plus holidays under an Italian contract.
