An outstanding and rare opportunity to join a friendly design-led, sustainable/reusable housewares business who are about to enter the next stage in their evolution.

Home based in the Southwest/M4 corridor.

We are seeking a talented and ambitious individual at National Account Manager/Business Development Manager level for our client, to increase revenue through growth of their existing customer base and through the identification and conversion of new business opportunities, small and large. You will play a vital role in growing their business and have a passion for eco- friendly, premium brands.

Job Purpose:

  • To increase revenue in the UK market through growth with the existing customer base and through the identification and conversion of new business opportunities, small and large.
  • To own the "total" relationship with all customers - prospecting, conversion, sales and orders, promotions and customer service.
  • To develop annual sales plans and budgets for the UK market that feed into the company’s overall budgeting process.

What we want you to do!

  • Cultivate strong relationships to drive sustainable growth and profitability with retailers both large and small.
  • You will be just as comfortable selling to John Lewis, as a garden centre or an independent gift shop.

Who are you?

  • You will have a creative and pro-active approach to developing new business opportunities - 3-5 years’ sales experience with a proven track record in homeware and consumer goods category would be great, it is likely you will have worked for a larger corporate business and now seek to bring that experience to a smaller business.
  • You will have natural curiosity and personal ambition: a passion to grow and develop through exploring best practices and ambitious to be the best at what you do.
  • You’ll be an "Influencer" with the ability to make people believe in you and our brands and you will be skilled at creating and delivering engaging presentations.
  • You should have strong commercial acumen: good negotiation skills, analytical and data-oriented approach to sales, the ability to utilise frameworks and tools.
  • You’ll be hard working and self-motivated - happy to work in a team or autonomously.

Salary: £50,000-£55,000 Basic + Bonus + Car/Allowance
