With a focus on empowering individuals and maintaining a relaxed, non-corporate environment, this company offers an exciting opportunity for growth and impact within a dynamic business setting. We are looking for a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover a secondment. As National Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and growing key accounts, including major retailers, distributors, and other large customers. Your expertise in sales strategy development and relationship management will be instrumental in achieving sales targets and increasing market share within these accounts.

Experience with an FMCG/CPG business is essential - candidates from outside the industry will not be considered at this time.



Responsibilities
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key accounts
  • Serve as the primary contact for accounts, addressing their needs promptly
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets and grow market share
  • Plan and implement account-specific promotional activities and campaigns
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to inform account strategies and identify opportunities
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and trade terms to secure favourable agreements
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms and manage renewals and amendments
  • Gather and analyse market intelligence to inform strategic decisions
  • Share insights with internal teams to support broader business objectives

Requirements
  • 1-5 years of distributor sales and management experience in FMCG
  • Understanding of single and multiple distributor systems
  • Ability to manage route to market projects
  • Highly motivated to work in the market and commit to learning new skills
  • Experience in sales team organisation development
