Our client, a successful entertainment company, is seeking a National Radio Plugger to promote music, using their wide-ranging knowledge of genres covering electronic dance music.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Building and maintaining strong relationships with producers, DJs, and Heads of Music.

· Representing the company by attending gigs and events.

· Arranging plugging appointments on a weekly basis.

· Securing airplay for artists including interviews, sessions, and features.

· Producing engaging press releases, and covering promotions.

· Attending client meetings.

· Attending and managing artist promotions when secured.

· Producing client reports.

· Curating a roster and finding new artists to work with.

· Owning personal financial targets.

· Contributing to wider radio department strategy and company objectives.


Requirements:

· Previous experience in a similar position.

· Genuine passion for radio and interest in music.

· Experience using Radio Monitor is advantageous.

· Commercial awareness of the market and music industry.

· Able to establish and maintain contacts, using excellent communication skills.

· Happy working as part of a team.

· Able to develop strategies for campaigns.

· Strong time management, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
