We're looking for a dedicated New Business Intake Manager to lead a team in the legal department of our International law firm. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of the legal industry and have previous experience in a managerial role.

Our client is a well-established International law firm with a global presence. With over 500 employees, they are renowned for providing exceptional legal services and advice to a diverse client base.

Description

  • Leading a team of analysts to ensure various risk and best practice proceedures are followed.
  • Supervising CDD checks carried out by junior members of the team and advising the fee-earners on CDD and conflicts.
  • Implementing strategies to improve workflow and efficiency within the team.
  • Ensuring adherence to SRA regulations in relation to conflicts and CDD.
  • Identifying and escalating potential conflicts issues.
  • Supervising the conflict checking process to ensure the checks are performed accurately
  • Assisting with developing new Compliance policies/ strategies
  • Undertaking any additional risk and compliance projects as required by the company.

Profile

A successful New Business Intake Manager should have:

  • A degree in Law, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge in CDD and AML.
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the legal industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Exceptional relationship management abilities.
  • Proficient understanding of legal procedures and guidelines.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
