What you will do

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a variety of engineering activities including the design, development and deployment of server software, in coordination with other teams across multiple regions. The overall objective of this role is to lead efforts to ensure engineering quality standards are being met within existing applications and new initiatives.

* Design and build new services for our products.
* Support, refactor and improve existing services.
* Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users.
* Ensure essential engineering procedures are followed and help improve engineering standards and processes.
* Be a part of gathering requirements from business.
* Monitor and react to application issues.

What you will bring to the role

* Expert skills in building Distributed Systems.
* Expert skills in .NET software engineering patterns.
* Good knowledge of low-level performance optimisation techniques.
* Working knowledge of Python.
* Understanding of stateless vs stateful design and when to use either.
* Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
* Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication.
