Mid to Senior .NET Developer - Perm £50k-£70k - US Sports Analytics

An American sports forecasting and analytics company is looking for a .NET Developer to join their Risk Simulation, Data Modelling and Simulation Engineering teams to support their operations. There are 3 positions live, 1 for each team.

Simulation: To combine maths, sports, and computer science to create simulations of a sports game. The goal is to produce fast, accurate and efficient sports simulations for downstream cloud-based microservices architecture.

Risk: Maintaining and building tools to monitor the risk values of real-time sports analytics.

Data Modelling: Building and maintaining tools to create a seamless process across data consumption, storage and management.

Salary: £50,000-£70,000

Location: X2 per week in London Bridge

Requirements:

  • Experience with C# and .NET Frameworks (Version 5+)
  • Experience with MYSQL
  • Experience and knowledge of SOLID Principles
  • Experience with Cloud Architecture (Microservices, Desirable experience with AWS)
  • An MSc Qualification in Software Engineering or Computer Science
  • Desirable experience with Multi-threading and Low Latency (Must have a good understanding as a minimum)
  • Desirable experience with messaging queues Kafka or Redis
  • Desirable passion/interest in sports
