Network Engineer - Contract

  • Inside IR35
  • 1 day per week in Milton Keynes or London

This is a Network Engineer Contract position working for a top financial services company on an initial 12-month contract.

Roles responsibilities

  • Fault Management - In depth Call and incident Management
  • Escalations - Ensure the right technical level input is provided for all assigned escalations.
  • Provide architectural design/implementation of network and security projects as per corporate standards/best practice and business requirements.
  • Developing other team members through mentoring and skills/knowledge transfer.

Knowledge and skills required.

  • Check Point or Juniper
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, WAN, LAN, VPN, Routing (OSPF, BGP),
  • Proxies: Bluecoat
