Test Manager

Initial 6 month duration with views of extension

Hybrid working (1 day per week in Warwick office with travel to key sites expected once a month)

My high profile Utilities client is embarking on a significant divestment initiative coupled with a multi-year project to modernize and refresh their critical infrastructure. We are seeking an experienced Test Manager to oversee the network separation phase and lead the transformation of critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Network Separation Test Oversight: Manage and oversee the network separation process as part of a significant divestment.
• Infrastructure Modernization: Lead the multi-year project to modernize and refresh critical infrastructure.
• Vendor Management: Coordinate and ensure adherence to contractual obligations across multiple significant delivery vendors.
• Quality Assurance: Develop and implement effective test strategies to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to network separation and infrastructure modernization.

Key requirements:

• Experience: Experience in test management of network separation and infrastructure modernization projects.
• Vendor Management: Demonstrated ability in multi-vendor management, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of network infrastructure, preferably in the gas industry. Ideally holds testing certification.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to lead a team, prioritize tasks, and drive results effectively.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Flexibility: Willingness to travel occasionally; mainly a home-based position.
