I am currently looking for a Network Support Engineer for my Aerospace client. This will be part of the 2nd line Network Operation Centre team providing service, support and management capabilities to the Defence Information Infrastructure within Integrated Space Solutions from delivery into live service, providing all aspects of continued management of the live infrastructure through to close down.

This is an initial 12 month contract, paying around £350/day (Inside IR35) and fully remote. Must have Active DV Clearance.

  • Required to implement technical service solutions as a response to design changes, raised incidents and problems. This will include analysis and planning but will require a strong focus on organising, delivering, monitoring and controlling elements within the reporting path and driving continuous development of people and continuous service improvements.

  • Strong Technical competence in Networking, with a strong understanding of other technologies, such as Windows, SAN, Security, Virtualisation.

  • Strong skills in interpreting and producing, and tracking technical documentation.

  • Strong communications skills within the department to provide confidence and direction to peers

  • CCNA Network Accreditation or knowledge and understanding of Cisco Networks
