We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Data Engineer/Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, building, and managing our data infrastructure, ensuring the integrity and accessibility of data for all stakeholders.

 The Role:

  • Discover: collaborate with business experts, data analysts, and product owners to model insurance domain data structures and advise in respect to data, analytics and business intelligence technical feasibility
  • Define: define data solutions to product needs, contributing architectural artefacts to the architecture repository and maintaining these as the architecture evolves
  • Design: design scalable and reliable data solutions to support a global API first complex data integration ecosystem
  • Build: communicate data solution designs to implementation engineering teams, provide technical leadership, mentoring and solution support to the team during build, test and release cycles
  • Operate: ensure data service operations are effective and observable. Provide SME support for data service incidents and operational concerns
  • Govern: form a robust data governance capability, that integrates with agile delivery methods, and meets business objectives regarding data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance 
  • Innovate: evaluate new technologies and methodologies with innovation and continuous improvement objectives in mind
  • Citizenship: embody the startup culture of innovation, fast pace delivery, team ownership and chasing down risks


The Requirement:

  • Proven experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, or similar role in a technology driven organization
  • Strong knowledge of database design, document models, API definition, data pipelines, MLOps, and azure data analytics architectures.
  • Experience with cloud services (Azure) and associated technologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Typescript
  • Familiarity with data modelling, data governance, and data pipeline processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with core solution components Mulesoft and MongoDB
