Our client is precious metal manufacturer who proudly supporting jewellers across the country with everything from precious metals to jewellery tools. They are a leading provider of 3D printing technology in precious metals and are developing new markets for their 3D printing products, with significant growth plans within the next 5 years.

Based in Birmingham, they are a friendly, well-established but growing business.

They have an exciting opportunity to join their expanding 3D/printing team as a New Product Development Engineer.

Working as part of the 3D/AM team, you will be supporting with the development of new products and projects, and working as part of a cross functional team to translate customer requirements and market insights into product concepts. Creating prototypes sketches, and specifications to communicate and visualize ideas.

What you will need to succeed in this role

Possess advanced expertise in a range of software packages, including but not limited to:

- CAD software: Rhino, SolidWorks
- 3D Printing Software: Magics
- Project Management Software: Microsoft Project, JIRA
- Office Suite: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Hours of Work

Our client’s working week totals 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday. Hours can be flexible but will need to suit business requirements.

The successful candidate will need to complete, at the company expense, a basic DBS check for this role.
