Night Carer

Location Hove, East Sussex

Salary £13.00 per hour

Our client is a family run residential care home for the elderly, specialising in supporting those with mild to moderate dementia in a homely environment. Their care team provide care and support for their residents 24 hours day in a safe, kind, professional and loving way. They meet their residents varying needs in a respectful, empathetic manner in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for them.

The Role

They are seeking an experienced Night Carer who is capable, confident and engaging.

You must be competent to do medication and enjoy being part of a team.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience working waking nights.
  • Experience in delivering care & support to elderly adults with dementia.
  • A kind, caring, patient nature.
  • An outgoing, engaging personality.
  • Be attentive – able to identify when others need help, even if they don’t always ask for it.
  • Reliable and trustworthy.
  • The desire to make their residents day or night a good one.
  • A great sense of humour would be a plus.
