Highwood Care Home is a brand-new, purpose-built luxury care home in the beautiful and historic port town of Bideford. We provide Residential, Dementia, Nursing, and Respite care for up to 67 residents in a welcoming and homely environment.

Due to our continued growth and the opening of our next floor, we are expanding our team and looking for a compassionate and dedicated Nightshift Registered Nurse to join us. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a newly commissioned home and help shape its success from the ground up!

Your Role – Make a Difference Every Night

As a Night Nurse, you'll be at the heart of our residents’ care, leading with compassion and clinical expertise to create a safe, nurturing environment. Your nights will be filled with purpose as you:

  • Lead & Inspire – Guide and support a skilled night team, ensuring residents receive the highest quality care.
  • Personalise Care – Work closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to craft and implement tailored care plans.
  • Deliver Excellence – Monitor health conditions, administer medications, and uphold the highest clinical standards.
  • Hands-On Support – Provide direct care that promotes independence, dignity, and well-being.
  • Stay Ready – Act swiftly and confidently in emergencies, ensuring seamless communication and continuity of care.
  • Create a Warm Atmosphere – Encourage social engagement and foster a home-like environment where residents feel valued and supported.
