Night Receptionist

We have an exciting opportunity for a trustworthy, responsible, and hardworking individual to join our client's team as a Night Duty Officer.

Our client is a beautiful library/hotel near Chester that offers a unique and fulfilling work environment.

This role is versatile and could be ideal for an avid reader, aspiring writer, responsible student (with no working restrictions), or someone with previous experience in the security or hospitality industry. If this sounds like you, read on!

Key Details:

• Temp to Perm position
• 4 nights on and 4 nights off

- Shift timings:

- 8pm to 11pm: £11.64 per hour

- 11pm to 7am on-call: £50 provided for this time period (with sleeping facilities and a provided mobile)

- 7am to 8am: £11.64 per hour (opening up and handover to reception)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct security checks
• Perform light cleaning and tidying duties
• Set up the restaurant for breakfast and prepare three conference rooms for the following day if required
• Ensure all doors are closed by 10pm
• Between 11pm and 7am, be available via phone for emergencies, connected to guests, senior managers, and fire alarms
• Open up the premises and handover to reception from 7am to 8am

This role requires commitment for four nights a week or more, with the potential to transition into a permanent position. For the right candidate, overtime opportunities may also be available.

Our client hosts an average of around 25 guests per night, most of whom retire to their rooms by 10pm. As they are predominantly readers and individuals working on personal projects, the environment is peaceful and conducive to a fulfilling work experience.
