Nursery Assistant

Do you currently have a qualification in Early Years Education?

We are currently recruiting a Level 3 Nursery Assistant for an Outstanding Nursery which is based in a mainstream Primary School in the Feltham area. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that all children attending the setting receive high quality care, are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences within the daily routine which meet their individual needs.

Main responsibilities:

· Planning and supervising fun and educational activities

· Managing a daily schedule that includes activities, toilet breaks, lunch and rest time

· Observing children and taking notes of any problematic behaviour

· Feeding and changing when necessary

· Communicating with parents and staff members

· Helping children learn numeracy and language through daily activities

Requirements:

· Available to work 08:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday

· Recent experience working with children in a school or alternate environment in the UK

· Already have or able to apply for a DBS

· Either live in Feltham or within a commutable distance

Key Requirements:

· Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (or other full and relevant Early Years qualification)

· Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting

· Knowledge of EYFS

· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

· Ability to work effectively as part of a team

· Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children

· Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation governing childcare (e.g, Safeguarding)
