Position: Nursery Class Teacher
Location: Cardiff
Start Date: September 2nd 2024
Contract: Full-Time

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Class Teacher to join our dynamic team in Cardiff. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to make a significant impact on the early development of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.
  • Assess and monitor children's progress, providing feedback and support to ensure each child reaches their full potential.
  • Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and colleagues to support the holistic development of each child.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on children's development and progress.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all children.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching in a nursery or early years setting.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
