Our client is seeking to appoint a  Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurses to join their friendly nursery based in Hammersmith, Greater london. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is caring, friendly and has experience of working with under 5’s.

Person Specification:

NVQ level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent

Experience of working with children under 5 years of age

Good written and verbal communications

Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)

Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)

Some of the Nursery Nurse responsibilities will include:

  • Working with EYFS curriculum and planning exciting age appropriate activities
  • To effectively work as part of a team
  • Supporting children at sleep times and with personal care
  • Key worker responsibilities, settling new children, maintaining children’s development records and planning next steps
  • Building positive relationships with parents
  • Working to nursery policy and procedures
  • Attending parent’s evenings and open days as required
  • Attending staff meetings and training as required
  • Working 40 hours per week
