Nursery - Nursery Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join a vibrant nursery in Biggleswade. This role is open to both qualified and unqualified practitioners who are passionate about early years education and are eager to contribute to the development and learning of young children.
Day-to-day of the role:- Support the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, collaborating with room leads to set up engaging and innovative activities.
- Engage with children in both group settings and on an individual basis, fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment.
- Contribute to a varied programme of play and learning opportunities, ensuring a balance of educational and recreational activities.
- Prioritise the safety and well-being of the children, catering to their individual needs and ensuring a secure environment.
- An Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with additional care needs, is highly desirable.
- Ability to provide two recent professional references.
- Experience managing challenging behaviours.
- A calm, caring personality with a strong and resilient character.
- Committed to the development and education of pupils.
- Proficient in reading, writing, numeracy, and communication skills.
