Title - Nursery Practitioner

Location - Bradford

Salary - £12.82 to £15 per hour

Start date - Immediate start.

Empowering Learning is working with a Private Nursery in Bradford who are seeking a Nursery Practitioner to support their two different rooms to support their younger and older learners.

You will be involved in Nursery duties on and off site.
- Assist the Nursery Manager and colleagues in implementing educational programs and activities for students.
- Provide support to students with special needs.
- Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Help students with daily tasks, such as personal care and hygiene.
- Support students in their academic and social development.
- Collaborate with Nursery Manager and colleagues to develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the Nursery Manager.
- Assist with setting management and behaviour management strategies.

- Experience working with children from an EYFS setting.
- Knowledge of special education practices and strategies. Not essential.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards working with children.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle challenging behaviours.
- Knowledge of toddler care and development is a plus.

This position requires a compassionate individual who is dedicated to supporting the needs of Early Years students. The Nursery Nurse will work closely with the Nursery Manager to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Experience working with children, particularly those in EYFS, is essential. Strong communication skills are also important for effectively collaborating with students, parents, and colleagues.
