Due to our baby room expanding an excellent opportunity has arisen to join our experienced friendly and passionate team in our exciting baby room. The applicant ideally would hold a level 2 or Level 3 qualification.

We provide full year care for children aged 3 months - 12 years through our day nursery services, preschools, wrap around school care and holiday clubs.

We are a friendly and welcoming team who work well together to provide the highest standard of early education.

Due to the nature of the role the successful applicant must be able to undertake and provide a clear enhanced DBS check and satisfactory referencing.

We are seeking a dedicated Baby Room Practitioner to join our nursery team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and providing quality care to young children.

• Create a safe and nurturing environment for babies in the nursery
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate learning and development
• Provide personal care to infants, including feeding, changing nappies, and comforting
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and well-being.
• Manage daily routines and ensure a structured yet flexible schedule
• Supervise playtime and always ensure a clean and hygienic environment

Requirements

• Qualification in childcare or early childhood education Level 2 or Level 3
• Experience working with babies or young children in a nursery setting
• Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
• Strong leadership abilities to guide and support the baby room team
