Are you an experienced and passionate EYFS Nursery Teacher ready to lead a vibrant and dynamic nursery class? Do you have the skills to inspire young learners and support a dedicated team of staff? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

Academicsare seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Teacher to oversee a primary school's nursery which consists of 52-pupils and manage a team of 4 staff members for the Autumn term. This role requires strong leadership, a passion for early childhood education, and the ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for our young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing the nursery setting, ensuring high standards of care and education
  • Planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS curriculum
  • Supporting and mentoring the nursery staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment
  • Monitoring and assessing children's progress, providing feedback and support to parents
  • Ensuring the nursery operates in compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices
  • Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialisation in Early Years Education
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a nursery or early years setting
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving and team management
  • A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care
