Nursery Teacher
About the Role:
Our client school, a lovely two-form entry primary school in Islington, is seeking an experienced and dedicated full-time nursery teacher to join their team from September 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a vibrant and inclusive school community.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and skilled nursery teacher with a passion for early childhood education. Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and Delivering Lessons: Create and implement engaging lesson plans that promote early learning and development.
- Assessing Student Progress: Monitor and assess the progress of students, providing feedback and support to foster their growth.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and nurturing classroom environment, managing behaviour effectively to ensure a safe and productive learning space.
- Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support the holistic development of each child.
Requirements:
- Must have UK-recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- Positive and ambitious attitude towards learning and teaching
- Willingness to enhance the school's ethos and contribute to its vibrant community
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues, children, and external agencies
- Must be available full-time and committed to a long-term position starting in September
