Nursery Teaching Assistant

Are you an experienced Early Years professional looking for a rewarding role in a nurturing environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a Nursery Teaching Assistant to join our team!

Role: Nursery Teaching Assistant
Location: Bargoed, Caerphilly
Start Date: September

Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities
  • Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
  • Monitor and record the progress and development of children
  • Support children's social, emotional, and educational development

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with Early Years children
  • Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A nurturing and patient approach to working with young children
  • Relevant qualifications in Early Years education (desirable)
