Key Responsibilities of a Nursing Home Manager:
- Overall day to day running of the care home
- Ensuring the highest standard of care
- Liaise with outside Healthcare professionals regarding care and building positive relationships with stakeholders
- Managing budgets, ensure targets are met
- To ensure CQC and company policies are followed and adhered to
- Recruitment, training and development of skilled staff
- Develop a marketing plan to promote the home effectively and maintain full occupancy
- Build relationships, communicate and respond effectively to the needs of families and residents
- Promote a caring environment for residents through high standards of professional practice
- Previous experience in a Nursing Home
- Nursing pin desired but not required
- Strong Leadership skills
- Excellent decision making and organisational skills
- A clear understanding of CQC standards
- Previously registered with CQC
