Your Role:
We are seeking a passionate Occupational Health and Safety Co-Ordinator who can demonstrate flexible, innovative, and diverse thinking, the role includes but not exhaustive:
Responsibilities:
- Prepare & review construction phase plans and method statements.
- Undertake/review risk assessments
- Provide administrative support.
- Working under direction to deliver the duties of a Principal Contractor.
- Deliver various H&S services to ensure compliance on construction projects.
- Ensure that pre-construction information is readily available for each project and is kept up to date.
- Assist with preparation of health & safety files, RAMS for ATL works where required.
- Perform data entry, documentation, printing and general filing duties.
- Strong record keeping skills

What you’ll have:
- Solid experience working in an administrative role.
- The ability to work effectively with staff throughout the organisation regardless of seniority or background.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Excellent listening skills.
- Effective minute taking skills.
- Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills.
- Strong IT skills.
- Some experience of working within health and safety.
- Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment legislation.
- Ability to deliver to deadlines.
- Team player, but equally comfortable working on an individual basis.
- Good communication skills both oral and written.
- Good practical knowledge of Microsoft 365 software, including Excel, Word & Powerpoint plus SharePoint and Teams.
What you will be working towards:
- IOSH Managing Safely (upon successful completion of probationary period)
- NEBOSH General Certificate (within 12 months, subject to progression)
- CPD training courses (ongoing)
- TechIOSH – Technical membership of the Institute of Occupational Safety & Health

- Company laptop provided
- Company mobile phone provided (or contribution to your personal phone bundle) following successful completion of probationary period
- Onsite role with opportunity for hybrid work pattern following successful completion of probationary period. Note: this role cannot be performed 100% remotely.
- Regular workshops/toolbox talks to develop your knowledge & skills
- 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (One long service day accrued annually after one full year’s service, to a max of 5 days)

Please note the role is permanent after 3 month probation
Working hours are Monday - Friday 09:00-17:00.
