Occupational Hygienist

My client is an established consultancy based in the United Kingdom that specialises in providing comprehensive testing, inspection, and certification services to companies operating within the construction, infrastructure, and health and safety sectors. They are dedicated to delivering technical expertise and tailored advice to their clients on how to enhance their performance and gain a strategic edge in the market.

Requirements:

  • A degree in science or a related technical discipline and accredited membership of BOHS.
  • A methodical approach to work with a minimum of at least 2 years of experience.
  • A reliable and hardworking attitude with a detailed approach.
  • Excellent communication skills both in written and verbal communication.
  • Excellent IT skills, specifically in common Microsoft packages.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive environmental assessments to evaluate health risks and hazards related to noise and vibration exposure in various settings.
  • Document environmental procedures, processes, and tasks associated with noise and vibration, facilitating thorough record-keeping and analysis.
  • Provide clear and accurate information, advice, and training to stakeholders within the environmental sector, promoting awareness and compliance with relevant regulations and sustainability initiatives.
  • Recommend and implement organisational changes and facility designs aimed at minimising noise and vibration impacts on the environment and human health.
  • Utilise specialised equipment to accurately measure and sample noise and vibration levels in the environment, ensuring precise data collection.
