Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Grade: Band 6

Department: MRI Occupational Therapy

Location: Manchester Royal Infirmary, Oxfod Road, Manchester, M13 9WL

Trust: Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Pay rate: £21.79

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust are currently seeking experienced Occupational Therapists to provide a high quality, responsive service for patients at Manchester Royal Infirmary, working as part of the acute MRI occupational therapy team.

Main duties of the job

  • Be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients
  • Carry out full consultations with patients in order to establish baseline data
  • Be active in discharge planning of inpatients
  • Demonstrate complex dexterity and therapeutic handling skills

To be successful in applying for this role you will need:

  • Current relevant professional registration (HCPC Registration)
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Post graduate experience in a busy acute medical environment
  • Have specialist knowledge of occupational therapy assessment and treatment techniques
