Occupational Therapist

Job Title: Paediatric Neurodevelopmental Specialist (Psychologist/SLT/OT/Mental Health Professional)

Location: Birmingham

Employment Type: Full-Time/Part-Time Locum

About Us: This central Birmingham NHS Trust is dedicated to providing exceptional neurodevelopmental services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate within multidisciplinary and multi-agency teams to deliver highly specialized interventions in line with established care packages and pathways.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with parents, carers, and other stakeholders, utilizing advanced communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Promote excellence in clinical practice within the service's specialist area, adhering to current research and evidence-based practices to ensure safe and effective care.

Essential Criteria:

  • Professional qualification as a Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapist (SLT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Mental Health Professional.
  • Completed ADOS training with demonstrable experience.
  • Ability to provide face-to-face services exclusively.
