Working within the Learning Disabilities Occupational Therapy team

Location: Hackney

Start date- ASAP

End date- 6+ Months

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30 - 4:30

Skills/Experience:

• Providing specialist occupational therapy assessments and interventions for adults with a learning disability to promote independence and meaningful engagement using a targeted outcome focused person centred approach.
• Completion of occupational therapy process, assessment, intervention plans, responsible for caseload.
• To ensure service users recovery goals and plans are at the centre of Occupational Therapy practice and fosters skills and confidence of people to enable them to live as independently as possible
• Part time working considered
• Professional assessments and care interventions within legislation and the COT and HCPC practice requirements
• Manage, supervise and support staff as required
• Contribute the skills, knowledge and performance of the OT team
