Band 6- Occupational Therapist needed in an Adult Mental Health Ward

Location: Solent

Start date- ASAP

End date- 3+ Months

This is to join a team of OTs PTs, Therapy assistants and apprentices, exercise practitioners and activity coordinators.

• Full Time will consider Part Time
• Mon - Fri 8.30am - 4.30pm
• Face to Face only
• Adult Mental Health OT

Skills/Experience:

• Experience as an MH OT working in inpatient settings
• Completion of occupational therapy process, assessment, intervention plans, responsible for caseload.
• To ensure service users recovery goals and plans are at the centre of Occupational Therapy practice and fosters skills and confidence of people to enable them to live as independently as possible
• Part time working considered
• Professional assessments and care interventions within legislation and the COT and HCPC practice requirements
• Manage, supervise and support staff as required
• Contribute the skills, knowledge and performance of the OT team
