This is an exciting opportunity for a competent OCDEA with a background within the energy industry to join a growing consultancy who specialise in energy compliance, with their services being provided across the UK.

Role responsibilities for an OCDEA include:

  • Carry out SAP and SBEM assessments and calculations
  • Use IES-VE software to carry out Part O assessments and overheating TM52 and TM59 assessments
  • Produce SAP assessments and EPC's so that Part L compliance is achieved
  • Carry out consultancy and written reports for planning stages so that requirements are met

The ideal OCDEA will have:

  • An OCDEA qualification with demonstratable experience carrying out SAP calculations and SBEM assessments
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience within a Sustainability, Energy, or Building Physics consultancy role
  • Proficiency with IES-VE software to carryout overheating analysis according to CIBSE TM52 and TM59
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
