This is an exciting opportunity to join an energy consultancy who specialise in carrying out BREEAM, SAP, and SBEM assessments for clients across the UK. They are on the lookout for a qualified OCDEA to hit the ground running and join their energy team with their office based in Hertfordshire.

Role responsibilities:

  • Produce SAP Assessments and calculations for commercial projects across the UK
  • Ensure clients projects are in compliance with Part L UK Building Regulations
  • Produce sustainability reports and strategies for planning phases and ensure they meet local renewable obligations and requirements
  • Develop and maintain new or pre-existing client relationships and ensure their projects sustainability targets are achieved

The ideal OCDEA will have:

  • An OCDEA qualification through a credible accreditation scheme
  • A minimum of 1 years' experience in a relevant role such as a SAP Assessor
  • Demonstratable experience delivering SAP Assessments and calculations
  • Experience using Design SAP software to carry out commercial energy assessments
  • Strong knowledge of planning and Part L building regulations
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
