I'm recruiting for an Ocean Import Clerk to join a successful freight forwarder based in the Manchester area. You must have previous experience in ocean imports or freight customer service background.

Daily duties will include:

  • Managing ocean imports from start - finish
  • Completing customs entries
  • LCL / FCL
  • Liaising with customers to ensure on time delivery
  • Tracking and tracing shipments
  • Updating customers on shipments
  • Taking bookings
  • Arranging collection and delivery
  • Handling documentation including Bill of Lading and invoices

Working hours:

  • Monday - Friday 0900am - 1730pm, once trained this will become a hybrid role working 2 days in the office and 3 from home.
