I'm recruiting for an Ocean Import Clerk to join a successful freight forwarder based in the Manchester area. You must have previous experience in ocean imports or freight customer service background.
Daily duties will include:
- Managing ocean imports from start - finish
- Completing customs entries
- LCL / FCL
- Liaising with customers to ensure on time delivery
- Tracking and tracing shipments
- Updating customers on shipments
- Taking bookings
- Arranging collection and delivery
- Handling documentation including Bill of Lading and invoices
Working hours:
- Monday - Friday 0900am - 1730pm, once trained this will become a hybrid role working 2 days in the office and 3 from home.
