We're recruiting for a company based in Berkhamsted who are looking for an entry-level Office Assistant to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. This is an entry level role and a fantastic opportunity for someone to learn and progress.


We are looking for someone that wants to kick start their career, someone with a strong eye for detail and with good literacy skills. If you have the willingness to learn and want to progress, then we want to hear from you!


You would be supporting the marketing side of the business, so if you've got a creative side or interested in that side of things, this would be great exposure to that as well.


You will find yourself shadowing a member of the team to start off with, learning the ropes and developing your product/client knowledge. Once you are up to speed you will be playing a crucial part within the company's operations, looking at the finer details of each product.


This is a Monday to Friday position, hours are 9am to 5:30pm with a 1-hour lunch break. This position is paying up to £21K. The company offer several fantastic benefits including, full training with room to progress, relaxed working environment, local discounts and more!


Free parking provided on-site, but these offices are within walking distance to Berkhamsted train station and high street.


Main responsibilities:

  • Checking over company products.
  • Highlighting any errors/changes which need to be made on each product.
  • Complying with the legal guidelines.
  • Proof reading print information.
  • Lisasing with other departments.
  • Assisting with the quality control of each product which comes through.
  • Making sure errors don't slip through the net when products are sent through.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong organisational skills along with the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Need a flexible, proactive, and adaptable approach.
  • Team player.
  • Adopt a 'Can Do' attitude at all times.
  • Strong literacy skills.
